Rebecca was always into body mods, so as soon as she heard about the new technology, she was one of the first ones to volunteer.

Turns out the woman, named Emily, was actually wife of the man who bought Rebecca's head - he wasn't a collector planning on keeping the head in suspended animation, he was a desperate, loving husband of a woman who suffered disfiguring injury which cost her her whole face, scalp and ears.

Seeing the auction as a way to give his wife a new chance on normal life, he spared no expense, bought Rebecca's head and had it transplanted to Emily.

Rebecca, deeply moved by Emily's story, realized she has the power to improve the world around her if she brings together the right people People like Rebecca, who seek to get rid of a part of their body, be it out of vanity, for the sake of art or because of BIID, and people like Emily, who just want to lead a normal life.

On this premise, Rebecca and Emily founded the ReMily foundation, named after it's founders, which focuses on promoting body positivity, alternative lifestyle and funds medical and psychological help to people suffering from disfiguring or severely disabling injuries.
