Throughout her school years, Danielle was a shy girl.

With basically her only real friend being Mia, she was relentlessly bullied for her heavy acne.

Because Danielle couldn't get over her negative emotions towards her own head, her holohead features a custom programming, which, instead of displaying simulation of her own head, allows her to display emoticons and various custom symbols according to her current mood or situation, which, if set to automatic mode, might flicker rapidly between several emoticons if she's experiencing several strong emotions at once.

As soon as she was released from the ReMily foundation's reconvalescence center, her mental heath started rapidly improving: Gone was the shy, bullied girl with low self-esteem and a new ReMily foundation's motivational speaker and youth mental health ambassador, colloquially known as "The Emoji Girl" was born.

But even after becoming self- assured, outgoing and more popular than ever, her opinion on her own face never changed. She remains the emoji girl, never showing her previous face, because that's the new self she come to embrace.
